Are you an emerging producer?

We are seeking to collaborate with a creative producer on Disappearing Women.

Disappearing Women is an international feminist project that combines performance and community-building. This is a long-term endeavour that uses Open Space technique to examine the intersection between art and activism.

We have completed three rounds of R&D and are now looking to expand our reach and apply for funding to further support the next stage of our creative process. For this, we need a producer to be a part of our team. This position is currently unpaid but we are looking to secure funding. We aim to be as flexible as we can around your paid commitments.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Is passionate about applied theatre that addresses social and political injustice;

  • Has experience fundraising and working with budgets;

  • Is highly organised;

  • Is willing to contribute creatively and be an equal member of our team.

We are particularly interested in applications from people who feel their voices are often underrepresented on stage.

If this appeals to you, we’d love to hear from you! Let us know who you are and what you do – this can be by CV, a link to a website, or a short cover letter. Email firetreecollective@gmail.com by May 30 at noon.
